Internets much?
If you’re anything like me then you probably spend entirely too much time on the interblags. And if, like me, you get the jokes about all these ways to waste your time on the internet…. then join me. Not in person of course, just a metaphor.
And just to give you something to think about, here is a list of countries (and states) and their age of consent laws.
Notice the Vatican. 12. Yikes.

Can’t wait to do this in the spring.

Let’s Talk About: Summer 2004.
It was fun. Lots of good riding, lots of good friends, and above all lots of laughs.
Oh yeah, and lots of music selections and editing gimmicks that I can look back on in a flush of embarrassment.
Thanks to Ryan for remembering this video and uploading it to be seen again.
If anyone has any old COTrials videos on hard drives anywhere, please feel free to toss them up on vimeo. I lost most of those in a fire/flood/orgy.

Throw Backs: The Lillingtons
Wow. Throw back to like 2001-2002 when I would sit there and listen to The Lillingtons on repeat, especially this song, for hours upon hours. I would sit there and wonder if someday The Lillingtons would be looked back on as The Ramones of the 90’s.
Nope. As it turns out, they didn’t really have the same impact as The Ramones.
But they sure were fun.

I don’t know who this is. It looks like Sienna Miller I guess. It’s just a nice photo.

Elf in America
I just got this tip off to read an online comic strip called American Elf. It’s been made into four volumes of books so far too and I guess it’s going pretty well for the guy. Anyways, I had a slow day at work and read through till last December so far and while I wasn’t all that into it at first, it grew on me really fast. Once you figure out that the guy is giving himself a maximum of four frames to cover his day in this comic diary, you realize the skill that goes into such a brief summary. Some of them are hilarious and some of them are just these little fleeting moments that we often forget, take for granted, and never realize that they are what make life bearable.
And then as you keep digging you run into these moments about boners or childhood or love that make you feel like you’re not alone in the world. And all that profound meaning fits into four frames or less.
Dang.
I can’t wait for the next slow day at work to pick up where I left off.

Yeah, hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

I don’t really get all these text as image things that are popping up all over these days. There’s entire blogs of just this junk. But I guess you excuse it when one of them really “speaks” to you like the dork you are.
